Highlight of my day was my nephew saying his name in Spanish the way he learned from the Mexican kids in class. His name is Drew.

Temporary tatoos replace the sock puppet! Clever idea with cute buggie eyes

Check out these temporary tattoos. (p.s. Do you think it matters that they were designed for childrens hands?)

Spanish designer Hector Serrano's new temporary tattoos for children transform hands into colorful creatures. A modern take on the sock puppet, the wide-eyed caricatures of animals and monsters go on with water.

Serrano designed them for the U.K. gift company Worldwide, who launched them at this week's New York International Gift Fair. Purchase a set of eight animals or monsters for £4 from NPW or contact Worldwide's U.S. offices to find a local retailer.”

CBS is placing video ads in magazines this Sept. Cool technology

Remember how excited we used to get about lenticulars and scratch n’sniff?

CBS is including a super-thin video player in their Sept. 18 print editions of Entertainment Weekly mailed to subscribers in the Los Angeles and New York areas. It will play clips from new shows "Accidentally on Purpose," "NCIS: Los Angeles," "The Good Wife" and "Three Rivers," as well as returning sitcoms "How I Met Your Mother," "Two and a Half Men" and "Big Bang Theory."

You don't have to plug the magazine into an outlet or attach it to a VCR or anything, but you can recharge it via a mini-USB cord. The battery lasts for about an hour and has a 320 x 240 resolution.
